How do we rise above normal service and turn our baseline transactions into meaningful human connection? One size fits one client care provides us the opportunity to make a difference for our clients and our teams, and in order to do this, we must take what we do, not ourselves, seriously.
This is the third of a three-part workshop titled Veterinary Leadership Through Fresh Eyes: A Social Worker's Approach to Veterinary Management. In the fast-paced and ever-changing, modern world, veterinary medicine has fallen behind in several key areas. Our leaders need to find creative ways to build and support our teams, taking proactive approaches to growing and attracting talent. There is much hope, plenty of room, and considerable need for forward thinking professionals to abandon the status quo and begin doing what makes sense.
