Anthony Pierlioni

Anthony is the Manger, Training & Facilitation for the world's largest veterinary organization. He joined the learning and development part of the field after years of management experience in hybrid, GP, and specialty hospitals. Anthony also has years of management experience in social work, which has proven quite useful in the veterinary field. In 2023, Anthony's book, Veterinary Leadership through Fresh Eyes, A Social Worker's Approach to Veterinary Management, was published. It details his transition to the veterinary profession after years of experience in leadership roles in social work and the NCAA. Anthony's passion is animals - particularly turtles. For years, he worked with the veterinary community during his part in developing and helping operate theTurtleRoom, a non-profit organization that works to educate the public on the plight of turtles and tortoises, and to preserve and conserve them.
