Sarah Marzulli is a dedicated veterinary professional with a diverse and extensive background in the field. She currently serves as a co-leader of the anesthesia department at VCA West Los Angeles. Her journey in veterinary medicine began in 2014 when she started as a receptionist, and she has since gained experience in nearly every role within a veterinary hospital, honing her skills and knowledge along the way. Sarah’s passion for the veterinary field is deeply personal, inspired by her own childhood battle with cancer at the age of five. This experience fueled her desire to advocate for patients who cannot speak for themselves, a commitment she carries into her professional life every day. While she has worked across multiple specialty departments, Sarah found her true calling in surgery and anesthesia. Over the past few years, she has specialized in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and has taken on the role of teaching others how to perform these procedures in various clinical settings, including ER, CCU, and anesthesia. Sarah is working towards earning her Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in anesthesia, demonstrating her commitment to continuous learning and professional development. She regularly researches cases and collaborates with her mentors to stay at the forefront of her field. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys spending time with her partner watching hockey and baseball, taking her dogs to the park, and unwinding with a good book. Her passion for both her work and her personal life is a testament to her dedication and love for what she does.
