Dr. Joseph Masciana is originally from Long Island, NY. He went to veterinary school on the beautiful island of Grenada in the Caribbean at St. George's University. Dr. Masciana then continued to North Carolina where he finished his fourth-year rotations at NCSU and completed a small animal rotating internship at VSH of the Carolinas subsequently staying and working as an Emergency Veterinarian prior to completing his Emergency and Critical Care residency at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. He became a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2022. Dr. Masciana currently works at VCA WLA as a Criticalist, Intern Director, and Externship Director. When not in the hospital, Dr. Masciana loves to explore Los Angeles with his fiancé and two dogs that he rescued from Grenada and North Carolina. He is lover of puns, Dad-Humor, and coagulopathies.
